Baltic Island presents contemporary illustration from Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania as a diverse visual landscape shaped by mood, imagination, and subtle forms of storytelling. The exhibition brings together children’s illustration, comics, concept-driven works, and experimental practices, reflecting the breadth of Baltic visual thinking today. Moving between hand-drawn, digital, and hybrid techniques, the works reveal a shared sensitivity to atmosphere, metaphor, humour, and what lies beneath the visible. Together, they form an island of images where personal voices, cultural memory, and contemporary expression meet.
