Regina Lukk-Toompere is an artist working across a wide range of traditional drawing, graphic, and painting techniques. Her use of collage introduces elements of realism while also creating a dreamlike quality within her works.

Her works are held in the collections of the Estonian Museum of Art, the Estonian National Library, and the Estonian Children’s Literature Centre. She has illustrated books published in Italy, Germany, Russia, and the Netherlands, among others. Her work has been included in the IBBY Honour List and has received numerous awards in Estonia and Germany. Books illustrated by her have also been published in translation in Japan, the Netherlands, Poland, Korea, France, Ukraine, and Germany.
