Plats brings together illustration, graphic design, photography, music, and theatre with a broad curiosity for visual technique. She has illustrated more than fifty children’s books and regularly contributes to the children’s magazine Täheke, while also designing posters, postcards, logos, board games, exhibitions, and theatre sets.

Her illustrations are inquisitive and varied, often shifting method according to the needs of each project. Plats has received wide recognition in Estonia and has been selected three times for the White Ravens catalogue. Her collaboration with fashion designer Triinu Pungits also brought her visual language into pattern design for the 2020 and 2021 clothing collections.
