This is a story about a girl who wants to be the smartest person in the world. When everything she has learned can no longer fit into one head, her mother buys her a backup one. Two heads are better than one, but Matilda soon becomes confused about which head to wear and when, and shortly afterwards loses the second head. It is uncertain what would have happened if not for a ball that accidentally floats in through her window. It changes Matilda forever.
